I spoke at a PMI San Francisco Bay Area session, “The AI-Era PM: Becoming a Strategic Technology Leader,” on Friday, July 24, moderated by Sneha Gogia.

AI is changing how technology teams plan, build, and deliver work. We talked about how PMs can move beyond execution and become strategic technology leaders — the growing importance of technical depth, product thinking, business judgment, and organizational influence, and how AI can help PMs increase their impact.

It was an engaged group of about 18 PMs and technology leaders, working through what it actually takes to move from execution to strategic influence in an AI-driven organization.
